[English]

The current quasi-experimental study examined the efficacy of Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) in alleviating perfectionism and enhancing psychological well- of Male Lower secondary school Students. A total of 30 participants, selected through convenience sampling from middle schools in Isfahan (during the first half of 2022), were randomly assigned to either an experimental group (n = 15) receiving eight CFT sessions based on Gilbert and Choden’s (2014) protocol, or a control group (n = 15) receiving no intervention. The study utilized Ryff’s Psychological Well-being Scale (1980) and the Hewitt and Flett Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (1991). Data analysis via univariate and multivariate ANCOVA revealed statistically significant improvements in psychological well-being (F = 63.447, p < .05) and reductions in perfectionism (F = 44.802, p < .05) in the experimental group. These findings underscore the potential of CFT as an effective intervention for addressing perfectionism-related distress and promoting well-being among adolescent populations
