Investigating the relationship between hyperactivity with memory rate and dictation disorder of boy' students in elementary school, Zahedan

ABSTRACT
The main aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between hyperactivity with memory rate and dictation disorder of elementary boys students in Zahedan in the academic year of 2011-2012. A descriptive - correlational method was used. The statistical population included all elementary school students, of which 30 boys with dictation disorder were selected by simple random sampling .In collecting data, hyperactivity questionnaire of Karners et al. (1999), Wechsler Intelligence Scale (1939), and Jabari Dictation Test (1395) was used. Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used to analyze the data. Results indicated that there is a significant and inverse relationship between hyperactivity and memory rate and there is a significant positive relationship between hyperactivity and dictation disorder. Discussion: therefore, Increasing in hyperactivity can reduce memory rate and increase dictation disorders.
