Evaluation of attachment styles and Sensation seeking as predictive variables in dependence on mobile among teenage people

Abstract

Aims: Investigation of the attachment styles and sensation seeking as predictive factors in dependence on mobile among teenage people. 
Methods: A survey was conducted among 2 groups of moblie dependence teenage (n=52) and non moblie dependence teenage (n=154) whose ages ranged from 18 to 20 years old, 
located on the North of Iran, Mazandaran province, Sari city – Payame noor University were asked to anonymously complete questionnaires. Discriminant Analysis analysis was used. 
Results: The results of this study confirmed the hypothesis that the dependence on the mobile phone can be predicted on the based on variables such as sensation seeking, peer attachment styles . 
Conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the variables such as sensation seeking and peer attachment styles are important because of explanation of the dynamics of the emotional relationship by these variables which by that Could serve as significant of sensation seeking and attachment styles
